I love a good cycle at the weekend and this Sunday just gone was no different! My sister, her husband and I took to the streets of London (under very grey skies!) for a good 3 hour cycle down to Hampton Court, 500 year old palace and former home of England's most famous tyrant King Henry VIII - yes, the one that chopped off his wives' heads!
I just came across this fab shop on Etsy - Letters4lilly which sells wedding bouquets made from buttons. I've never seen anything quite like this before, I think it's such a great idea! Now, I just need to get engaged!
I just listed this new hair comb a couple of days ago... a little bit of a different style for me. The little gold rosebuds are so fiddly to make but hopefully the end result is worth it! Feedback welcome - do you like the added gold flowers or do you think the hair combs look better with just the rose ribbons?
I came across this beautiful shop on Etsy today... Such whimisical designs in soft, pretty, ice cream colours with beautiful detail and lovely photos and descriptions...
Check out this fab giveaway my friend Solange is hosting on her blog. There are 30 participating Etsy shops which means 30 prizes so the chances of winning are even higher! Just scroll past her profile and followers sections to get to the info about the competition. If you like my Etsy shop, you could win one of my rose hair combs!
I love to source and regenerate ribbon, material, buttons, silk etc to create historically inspired pieces that look fresh and modern. For as long as I can remember, I have been inspired by art and design and this led me to study Textile Design at university and my passion has only grown since then!
